The 4 Seasons - "Season" 1 - Anger

It starts slowly, deep within
From the very depths of the soul
The twisted sinews of a heart wounded
Unhealing scars that take their toll

Blades flashing, the oppresors ravag'd
As he stood helplessly watching
The behemoths smiled with blood-stained teeth
As he felt in his veins the boiling

He shudders at the memory
Of the pain, blood and gore
A blood-curling vengeance takes shape in his mind
He will leave them tattered and torn

He feels not the pool of blood
In which he was left to die
A grim smile spreads over his lips
At the knowledge that he will survive

Strange how Anger gives us strength
In times when all goes wrong
'Tis anger that lends the tune
And meaning to life's morbid song

A story of a angry person portrayed through blood and gore ... well told in all aspects... coverd all points u have!! i must say somplete to my knowledge of writing stuff... though i felt tht the meaning of anger that is the last para could be extendend to two paras u see the escence of the poem is the last para i would have liked it if there were two paras talking abt ANGER itself...but i must say super naveen super duper

I completely agree with these lines for it brings out pure passion and energy. Loved the way you word anger.

Four emotions a.k.a. seasons Anger, Envy, Loneliness and Fear. And what a start off with Anger, the most morbid emotion that man can express. Bring the rest on, can't wait to see how you going to make it this intense.

Ditto to everything above. I like the meter of your fourth verse.. it really matches the words. Or maybe I'm just into blood and gore, who knows :) Cant wait for loneliness.

unrealistic....gory and very very...red. thats all i cud see throughout the read.

did the oppressor rape his lady love?

and the man seemed kind of 'evil' in my mind when he "smiled" while lying in a "pool of blood."

revenge is solid. sacred. over the death of a loved one.

and all anger will do, is screw it up. because u lose ur control when u get angry....rite?

seems to me like ur poem is abt revenge, not anger.
